Scope of the privacy policy

This privacy policy applies to the following areas of the IGGH.

The IGGH ensures that all data is collected and processed with the utmost care and in accordance with Swiss data protection regulations.

At IGGH, people who need your data to provide our services have access to it. In addition to our employees, these persons also include service providers engaged by us. They have undertaken to maintain confidentiality and data protection.
The data may be passed on to the following categories of recipients:

  • To authorities, if required by law or deemed appropriate (such as the Federal Social Insurance Office)

The data passed on may only be used by third parties for the above-mentioned purposes.

The IGGH ensures that the third parties are located in Switzerland or in the European Union EU. With some service providers, such as Microsoft in the USA, we ensure that the data processing locations are in Switzerland or the EU. Where no other option is possible, we must expect that data may be transferred to the USA, for example by Google.

The legal basis for the processing of data when visiting the website is based on the legitimate interest of IGGH in increasing the efficiency of the website and its legitimate interest in maintaining and ensuring the security of information technology systems.

3.2 Google Analytics

IGGH uses the web analysis service Google Analytics from Google Inc., USA, for its websites.

Google Analytics uses cookies. These make it possible to analyse the use of the website including IP addresses.

Google complies with the data protection provisions of the "Swiss-USA Privacy Shield" agreement. Google uses the information collected to analyse the use of the website for the IGGH, to compile reports on this and to provide other related services to the IGGH.

3.3 Vimeo

IGGH uses plug-ins from the video portal Vimeo from Vimeo, LLC, 555 West 18th Street, New York 10011, USA, for its websites.

Vimeo uses cookies. Each time a page containing one or more Vimeo videos is accessed, a direct connection is established between the visitor and a Vimeo server in the USA. Data about the visit may be stored there. By interacting with the Vimeo plugin (e.g. clicking the start button), this information is also transmitted to Vimeo and stored there. 3.4 YouTube

IGGH uses videos from YouTube, LLC 901 Cherry Ave, 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA on its websites.

When a website with such content is accessed, a connection to the YouTube servers is established and the content is displayed on the website by notifying the browser. This tells the YouTube server which of our websites has been visited.

3.5 Social media plug-ins

IGGH uses the social media plug-ins listed below on its websites to draw attention to its information on these social networks:

Responsibility for data protection-compliant operation must be guaranteed by the respective provider. Data processing in connection with these plug-ins is carried out with the consent of the service recipients when using these plug-ins.

4. rights of the data subject

Any person may request information as to whether data relating to them is being processed and, if data is being processed, request that data processing be blocked, that no data be disclosed to third parties or that any personal data be corrected or destroyed.

If consent has been given to the IGGH for the processing of data, this can be revoked at any time by sending an email to info@iggh.ch. A revocation is only effective for the future and does not affect processing that took place before the revocation.

Every data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In this case, this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC; edoeb.admin.ch).

The personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of the processing no longer applies. If there are longer retention obligations due to legal and/or other obligations, IGGH will adjust the duration of processing accordingly.
